We’ll admit to being somewhat unaware of gracie (the lack of capitalization is intentional). We think that she’s had other tracks out before and done some features on tracks we like, but we’re drawing a blank. Still, her new EP is pretty solid. We actually had a little trouble picking the track we wanted to showcase because we liked almost everything that was included in the project.
What made us go with this ultimately boiled down to just how often we’ve had it on repeat in comparison to the other tracks. The song has a nice, hype feel to it thanks to the bass and the intonation of her flows, but it also has the grind-for-your-dreams element that tells you to keep working while others sleep on you because that just keeps them off their guard.
It may not be the most original track you’ll hear this month, but it will likely be one of the most addictive.
