You might know producer Galimatias best from the EP he did with Alina Baraz (sorry, linked version does not include the single Fantasy), but he’s been out here dropping mixes for a while now.  But he’s taking things a step farther by dropping his own original track minimal vocals to show us what he’s all about.

Anyone who loved Urban Flora is going to like this because the sound is very similar.  It has that mixture of vibey deep house and R&B that just sets a mood.  The vocals seem to be some originals resung for the track (like the BLACKstreet nah baby from Don’t Leave Me) and actually samples from other tracks, making for a nice mix of voices without pigeonholing the sound to a particular artist.  The ultimate mood is very feel good, but you could see this being repurposed for a track about a disintegrating relationship by the right writer.

There’s nothing like a good instrumental to get the day going and this one will set it off right.
