Sober is the unreleased record that snuck onto the internet from singer/songwriter/actor Jacob Latimore that was probably supposed to be a part of his latest album, Connections.

On the record he sings about how he is addicted to his girl’s love that it’s as bad as a drug habit.  He has become so dependent on the drug that he doesn’t want to be without the high. The record is perfect his vocals comes across crisp and clear and expertly takes advantage of the production.  The “your love is my drug” trope has been done before but, as tracks that use the metaphor go, it’s pretty well written and has some interesting phrasing.

It would have been a great fit for Connections and we’re kind of interested as to why it was dropped.
