They’re been nominated for a Grammy at least twice, but the odds that most people consider them more than spoilers for the “real artists” is slim. Paris and Amber Strother along with Anita Bias make up the trio and, despite their age, they are reaching back to something that we are just starting to realize we miss from modern female groups–harmony.
They sing in unison and carry you on a wave of sweet sound every track. It can be hard for three people to fill out the notes for a proper chord when everybody wants to sing lead all the time. These ladies have managed to put pride aside meld their voices into a gentle, ethereal sound that meshes with the production (without drowning them out) and just sets a mood. Your trouble float away as you listen and you feel better when you’re done listening than when you started.
