:SIGH:…What the hell, Cube Entertainment?

In our 10 Best Dance Practices You May Have Missed post, we said that we nominated CLC for the most mishandled debut of the year award.  Well, apparently, Cube Entertainment has decided to continue the streak of bad decisions for this group and release the most WTF song on their new EP as the lead single.  While we don’t object to the edition of new members Elkie and Eun Bin, High Heels is probably going to land on our list of worst songs released this year (which is, sadly, longer than it should be for the end of February) just for the sheer confusion of it.  The constant beat changes, the odd retro cutesiness that seems like it’s trying to imitate Warm Hole, and the shallow vocals just don’t work.  Adding insult to injury, the video is almost unwatchable thanks to to low production values and absolutely nothing going on in it.

Luckily for the group, the rest of the EP is listenable; although, we do wonder how much of this was recorded with the aid of the new members as Eighteen was featured here back in April.
