When GOT7 dropped If You Do a few months ago we remarked that we liked the fact that they looked mature and had stepped away from the cutesiness of many of their early releases.  Well, they’ve gone back to cute again and we are perfectly alright with it.

For the re-release of their album, MAD, the group has added some new songs; one of which is the Christmas-y Confession Song which seems to take the spirit of the season about giving love in the romantic direction and has the members singing about taking this moment to finally tell the ones they love their true feelings.  The song has a modern carol production with the harmonies and vocals sounding upbeat and full of hope.  It all makes for a really good Christmas love song.

The visual has us watching GOT7 play Christmas cupids as they give some real-life bashful hopefuls they chance to confess to their crushes.  Side note; if the girl paired with the guy with cards is deaf, that is extra-sweet that he put in so much effort.

At the time of this post, we were having a little trouble with the [CC] in the video so we also provided translated lyrics courtesy of KBeat.net.

Lyrics:
The confession failed hundreds times
I am not confident, should I just go back
I will make sure to confess
I am only speaking to myself, in the end
I can even look straight at you.
“I like you”, why is this phrase so hard?
I was about to say and gave up
Even I can’t write a letter
Every time I wrote, I threw away

Your heart isn’t like mine.
What if I can see you again,
I am so afraid
I don’t have a gut to confess
I am borrowing this song
I open my heart to you

I love you, baby I,
I love you (Since forever)
I love you, baby I,
I love you (I do)

I wait all day for your reply
What if I made a mistake while confessing
I wrote and erased wrote and erased
I get to say something else apart from my heart
The words I practiced in front of mirror
The phrase that would have been expressed in a drama
I forgot everything in front of you
My hands freeze in front of yours
My heart beat pounds so hard as much to be heard to you yeah

Your heart isn’t like mine.
What if I can see you again,
I am so afraid
I don’t have a gut to confess
I am borrowing this song
I open my heart to you

I love you, baby I,
I love you (Since forever)
I love you, baby I,
I love you (I do)

My heart beats like a drum
My chest waits for the day I can hold you.
My calendar waits for the day I marked red
My confession waits for me to be brave
Still I am shy and foolish
This song I wrote staying up many nights
I want to deliver my sincere heart by this song
I want to share one end of my earphones
How about that?

I love you (love you), baby I,
I love you (since forever)
I love you (woo hoo~), baby I,
I love you (I do, I do)
