It’s summertime so, of course, that means that Sistar has to drop a new EP.  Last year, they delivered a song that was the kind of thing that you didn’t mind having on in the background for a summer party.  This year, they dig in a little deeper and deliver a song that has some staying power.

I Like That has the members telling off and dumping the guy with the wandering eye (or cheating bastard) that did them wrong.  Depending on the translation, you English in the chorus may not make sense, but we tend to combine versions so that it has them saying they like his lies the best out of all the ones they heard all year.

Besides being on better lyrical footing, the production of this track is better as well.  They go for something dancey again, but this time the beat is more focused and less cartoony, making for a more enjoyable straight listen.  The vocals are good too, although it can be hard to distinguish the ladies from one another at times due to so many overlapping harmonies on the lead vocals (that’s not necessarily a bad thing, though).  It’s still a good summer track, but it has the potential to keep you listening past August.
