Containing the previously released singles Cocaine and Crocodile Tears, Jhyve has finally released the project that we have been waiting more than a year for.

One thing that we really like about Jhyve as an artist is that his songs don’t always go where we think they would looking at the titles.  Even on a song like Cocaine, which follows the “your love is my drug” metaphor you would think it would, he goes in a different direction by saying that she is the one addicted to fast living.  There is a focus on lyricism that is to be admired.  Add to that a lovely voice that embodies both soulfulness and sensuousness and strong production choices that allow the vocals and lyrics the chance to shine and you end up with an enjoyable half-hour listening experience.
