Seventeen – Mansae
We’ll be the first to admit that we didn’t get the initial hype around Seventeen. Sure; Adore U was an okay track but it didn’t seem any better than any other mega-group’s debut or any group’s debut this year period. Plus…there’s so many of them.
Then they released Mansae and we got it. Besides just being a great pop track that had good production and good vocals, the music video was interesting and allowed the members to distinguish themselves without anyone overshadowing too much.
The dance practice took things to another level as all the members showcased high energy to the point that it was actually hard to choose a person to focus on. No one looked like a backup dancer (we’re looking at you, Mr.Mr) and everyone seemed completely into it.
