Monsta X – Hero

We haven’t been impressed with Monsta X as a group.  Their songs, while kind of catchy, just seem like they reek of try-hard with the posturing.  Add to that a series of lyrics that just don’t seem to make sense even if you allow for cultural gaps and you get a group that isn’t being served well by its label.

Still, we can’t deny that one thing we do like about Monsta X are their dance steps.  The group shows a lot of energy and gives good face when they perform, adding conviction to whatever song they decided to do.  It doesn’t hurt that Hero is one of their better songs, either.
