Featured in the opening credits of the movie Black Salt, singer Mimoza brings us a Bond-esque theme song that shows off her powerful pipes.

The production of the track is stripped-down Bond, evoking those kinds of feelings that espionage flicks tend to give us when they open up.  What is really the star here are her vocals, which are rich and full.  With the production not having so much instrument depth as you might expect from this kind of film opener, you are able to hear every nuance to her tone as she trips up and down the note range with ease.  There are the kind of tracks that could show weakness in a singer’s voice, but there is no evidence of that here and it makes us really eager to hear something else from her in a more contemporary style.
