Are you looking for a track that can give you those Chris Brown feels but without the guilt?  Then we might just have the song for you.

While Jay Park has primarily become known as a rapper thanks to headlining on his own label (AOMG), it’s a treat whenever decided to drop those vocals on us.  This time around it’s a almost too summery-for-this-time-of year track about hoping the object of your affection is single has a beat that can most definitely be associated with Chris Brown.  The style will remind some listeners of a toned-down version of some of his earlier, R&B-based dance tracks right down to the guest verse by Hoody (who could easily be Sevyn Streeter).

The biggest difference is in the vocals.  While there is definitely some obvious autotune being used here, it doesn’t feel like the programs is being used to help Park keep in tune as much as it is for the effect it adds.  Park’s tone, while a deeper register, still has the edge of fun and energy as well that makes them the focal point more than the Cha Cha Malone production.

The version of the video we chose to use is the choreography-based one.  While the original had a cute little storyline about Park developing an interest in a woman on his staff, this just seems to fit the track a lot better.  Be aware, however, that the blonde featured during the female solo may not be Hoody (we can’t find a picture of her); she’s a different person than the woman featured in the original video…who could also not be the singer.
