Last year DJ Mustard released his 10 Summers album, a compilation of tracks produced by him (and his team) and featuring some of the biggest artists of the year. Not being one to look a good marketing strategy in the mouth, he has done the same again this year–except now it’s a freelease.
If you got your ears around last year’s edition, then you know what to expect. Most of the songs are hard-hitting hip-hop tracks. There are multiple features by many of the same artists and nearly all of them are a perfect fit for the club.
And, just like last year, arguably the best tracks in the set come from somewhat underground R&B singers. Last year it was Eric Bellinger and Tinashe; this time around it’s Justine Skye and Teeflii (except Justine Skye’s track is complete).
