Kendrick Lamar opened the BET Awards last night with a bang.  Performing his track Alright from his latest album, To Pimp A Butterfly, the rapper kept things political but still upbeat.  On the track, the rapper speaks on the trials that the black community has gone through in its history and the fact that we have come through to the other side bruised but stronger.  Visually stunning and full of energy, this was a great kick-off to the show.
