Some people might call it being high maintenance; Ginette Claudette might call it knowing your worth and letting her man know it, too.

The singer’s new track, Time, is the kind of track manages to be assertive and yet gentle at the same time.  Claudette lays out for her lover how she expects to be treated and essentially tells him that she will not stand for him dropping in and out of her life; he will have to put in time.  The production of this track differs from the pay tracks the singer has released to date with a more R&B feel and a heartier bass and drum line, taking the mid-tempo song out of more sleepy pop territory.  Her vocals are sweet in tone and work well with the beatwork, but have the added benefit of making the lyrics, which are straightforward, sound like someone pouring out their heart to a loved one.
