DAMN GIRL!!!

Stephanie is somewhat new on the scene in Korea but she is making herself known in a big way.  Her last single, Prisoner, was catchy and vocally well done and her new promises more of the same.  Over a EDM beat that starts off sounding like the Eurhythmics’ Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This) before transitioning into something that sounds like it was written for Kylie Minogue.  About the singer…uhm…working to get herself and her man to their apex, the bouncy beat belies the almost blatantly sexual lyrics that she’s dropping.  Her vocals are measured and not quite as soulful as on Prisoner (likely to match the production), but she sound good and manages to rise above the business of the production with ease.

The visual has Stephanie giving us Kylie Minogue feels as she stretches it out in slow motion.  While we would have liked a little more interplay with a guy here, she is most assuredly bringing the sexy.  Besides, based on Korean standards, if there had been a guy in this video it might have been classified as porn.
