Former Destiny’s Child member Farrah Franklin has reemerged from (for lack of a better word) obscurity to deliver a new track.
While her time in Destiny’s Child was short, the singer has not let that dampen her love of music and performing. On a mature track that speaks on the duality that some people feel they live thanks to differences that can exists between the natural state and the more worldly face. Her voice is nice but can sound a little pitchy in places mostly thanks to some odd tonal matches between production. The production itself is actually quite nice and has that real instrument feel, making it sound like she’s singing in a jazz club. The lyrics are the standout part of this track as they speak on something that a lot of people (women especially) can wonder and worry about.
This single will be available for purchase on September 15.
