With it’s mellow start in mellow tones that quickly get amped up thanks to the addition of the drums and bass, Tangina Stone sings of a relationship that was doomed from the start.  While she wonders about what she could have done to make things different, she ultimately comes to the decision that the onus to save the relationship wasn’t all on her.

The song is surprisingly upbeat for a track about a breakup, but that could be because Stone isn’t necessarily sad about the outcome.  The light do-do-do‘s that make up the only thing resembling chorus have a happy feel to them and the singer’s vocals have spine to them.  The lyrics are simple but convey their point well; you should have done more.  The spoken word part at the end of the track over a more rock-styled electric guitar give a good moral and add a nice capper to the track.
