What the hell, Aziatix?!
Having not heard from them in almost two years (due, in large part to being on Cash Money until the first of this year), I thought that this group has disbanded. So imagine my surprise when I got the alert on this, a brand new video from them that shows their good time performing and touring together.
The power pop ballad is pretty solid. The vocals from Eddy Shin are at their pop/rock best; Flowsik and Nicky Lee do a great job of backing him up with nice rhymes and vocals. The lyrics are solid, especially when they are put over the visual, which means they could be about feeling on top of the world when their with that special person or when they’re performing for their fans.
The confusing part comes at the end of the video when text informs us that they’re taking an extended hiatus…which I pretty much kind of assumed they were on already. This, seems to me, to be more of an official goodbye from the group than anything else. It makes sense; the member have always been in pursuit of their own separate careers paths and have continued to release solo material even when they were together with all of them appearing on singles, mixtapes, or television in the last eight months. They seem to be letting their Aziaddicts know that they aren’t coming back. And while it makes them (and me) sad, we understand they have to move on.

Awwwwwww. Dang. 😦 As if it wasn’t disappointing enough that the last two years have been Aziatix-less. Whatevs. *feeling some kind of way*
I guess we should be happy they didn’t just release a statement and be done with it.
