Considering how high energy the track is, the visual for Robin Thicke’s Back Together is amazingly lowkey and chill.  While the singer might be trying to show a contrast between himself now and back when he did Blurred Lines, it does feel a little odd that there isn’t more energy in video.  Even Nicki Minaj, while still bringing some spice, is turned down.  While it works in an odd way, it isn’t something that will make the strong track more memorable.

This single will be featured on Robin Thicke’s eighth studio album, Morning Sun, due out early next year.
