Julian King’s debut freEP really allows the singer to show what he is capable of.  With seven songs about love, every track shows his vocal capacity.  Definitely a summer set, the singer’s gentle tenor has that edge to it that lets you know that he got a little something from singing in church.  Most of the productions have a mellow R&B feel to them, but the they all feel very summery in their tone.  Lyrically solid, the tracks may not tread new ground, but they (with the exception of No Strings and Birthday track) are all about finding love and keeping it.

Definitely worth several listens, this whet out appetite for King’s future releases.
