Stacy Barthe will be dropping her 17-track album BEcoming in just a few days (July 10) and she has released one last single to whet your appetite.  With a production that will remind many of 80s Sade, Barthe gives some of her calypso-styled vocals to a track about staying in a relationship with someone who walls themselves off from you.  The track is pure gold from lyrics to vocals with everything perfectly balanced to make it a joy to repeat.

When it comes to the album itself, it will be allowing the listener to take the singer’s personal journey.  Specifically, it examines Barthe’s past thoughts of suicide, moments of alienation, the destruction of alcoholism, battles with weight loss and body image, and her eventual acceptance and love for herself.
