When we reviewed Kyle Shedrick’s War back in March, one of the things we liked about it was that it could be just as much about the march towards social justice as it could be about fighting for your dreams.  It seems that the singer had the same double meaning in mind and the visual for the track makes the comparison between the civil rights movement of the 1960s and now.  It also shows that sometimes the person who holds us back the most…is ourselves.

Shedrick’s EP, Higher Plane, will be released July 25.
