Ailee takes it back to the speakeasy…although she should probably stop drinking because she’s starting to drunk dial.  Craving the love of a man that left her high and dry without so much as a reason why, she’s lost in a spiral of lovelorn sadness.  The production has that jazz style, especially in the horns and piano, making it feel like she might be performing in a 20s nightclub.  Her vocals are just enough to give the song some oomph but not so much that she overpowers the track.  The downside is the lyrics, which are pretty basic and get repetitive, making the song seem a little longer than it is.

Lyrics:
Oh baby Johnny
Why don’t you know my heart
I’m the only one hurting
Oh baby Johnny
I love you so much
But I don’t know
Why did you leave me?

I’m alone on a dark street
Drawing you out, getting drunk
I start calling people
Asking why this happened as I regret every day

(I love you thank you)
And I’m sorry
(I need you baby)
I want you
(I love you thank you)
Please come back
I can’t forget you, I can’t
Don’t escape from me

Oh baby Johnny
Why don’t you know my heart
I’m the only one hurting
Oh baby Johnny
I love you so much
But I don’t know
Why did you leave me?

Oh baby Johnny
I’m so lonely tonight
Oh baby Johnny
I’m so scared tonight

I thought a lot (all night)
Why did we become like this (I don’t know)
I loved you so much (until always)
We shouldn’t have broken up

(I love you thank you)
And I’m sorry
(I need you baby)
I want you
(I love you thank you)
Please come back
I can’t forget you, I can’t
Don’t escape from me

Oh baby Johnny
Why don’t you know my heart
I’m the only one hurting
Oh baby Johnny
I love you so much
But I don’t know
Why did you leave me?

Oh baby Johnny
I’m so lonely tonight
Oh baby Johnny
I’m so scared tonight

On this deep night
Only tears fall
This deep love
Because of you, I can’t live through the days
