This track was originally only available on the Japanese version of their self-titled, debut album, Tuxedo gives us the happy-sounding Without Your Love just in time for summer cookout season.  Mayer Hawthorne and Jake One definitely have a good place in their throwback R&B sound as the tracks they release are fun to listen to and this is no different.  The mid-80s vibe makes you rock and smile as you listen and the addition of the horns takes it right over the top.  Hawthorne’s voice is a perfect match for the beatwork as he is able to lay down strong harmonies and fronting vocals with ease.  The only downside of the track is the lyrics, which really don’t give us anything noteworthy, which makes everything but the chorus hard to remember.
