The wait is over!!!!

Janet Jackson has finally released her first new track in seven years and it was worth the wait.  Stating that this is dedicated to her love, the song is about not being able to sleep until she gets together with her one and only.  The production has a jazzy vibe with a throwback sound that will remind some of her janet. era slow jams (and that’s not a bad thing).  The lyrics are simple and to the point without being simplistic, but it’s no doubt that Jackson’s sweet vocals are the star of the show.  Knowing where the powers of her vocals lies, she sings softly and seductively, but there is strength in her tone that some felt was lacking in a her last few releases.  The overall feeling is mature without feeling old or dated.
