Niykee Heaton’s relationship is falling apart but she’s not ready to let go yet.  While she and her man are fighting, she wants it all to be calm for just a little while longer.  The dark production of the track is a nice fit for both the singer’s tone and the song’s dark mood.  There is a sense of tension that seems to flow throughout, although you don’t know where it’s coming from.  Heaton’s vocals are solid and lowkey, making her sound like someone who’s tired of the drama.  The lyrics are solid, giving hints at the volatility of the situation while focusing mainly on the urge to keep everything calm.

The loosie doesn’t appear to associated with a project as of yet, but after the strength of Last Intentions EP, we hope there is more to come.
