When Rihanna directed people to this track on her website she captioned it by say that she was in love with her interludes.  We have to agree that this pretty good.  Showing off a more warm, jazzy side, the singer correlates time with her lover to blazing a joint.  Her vocals are decidedly out of her normal comfort zone (in a good way) as the track leans more to the R&B side of than we’re used to from her.   The production is simple with a keyboard and tweeting birds, but it allows Rihanna to show off some good tonal qualities that sometimes get drowned out by more bombastic beatwork.

The fact that this is only an interlude has us hoping this turns out like Birthday Cake and we get a whole track in the future.
