This song did not go where we thought it was going.

Tiffany Evans is serving as a public service announcement for watching how much you imbibe when your man can’t make his way home on time.  Over a sensual, pulsing production, the singer relates how angry she is that she went from making her baby dinner to wanting to curse him out when he comes strolling in the door at 5 AM.  But, in typical fashion of someone who’s had too much to drink, her emotions are kind of all over the place.

Evans does an excellent job on the vocals, putting the right (and appropriate) emotion in at the right place, really making the listener feel the story.  She ride the production expertly and never gets overwhelmed with the fact that there really is no underlying melody that she’s follow.  The lyrics are solid and tell and understandable story, even at it’s conclusion (at which point we think she passes out).
