The last time Eric Bellinger dropped a promotional track for an upcoming project was when he gave us Wednesday about a week before he released Choose Up Season.  Could the same thing be happening again?  Over the instrumental of Dru Hill’s April Showers, Bellinger recounts his musical career for people who don’t know before putting in the very nice brag, throwaways be sounding better than your album.  While we wish he had used less autotune, especially around the adlibs at the end, the quality of his vocals is good and the production is on point.  This also seems to serve as a bridge from the more boisterous style of Choose Up Season to a style that’s a little softer, much in the same vein as his Birthday Gifts EP.

For the chorus, he promises that his new album Cuffing Season is still on the way.  He had promised its release around Valentine’s Day of 2015.
