London singer Troy Hudson is here with her first official release, Protect Your Throne.  The short project is a smorgasbord of tracks that showcase the vocal abilities of the sweet-sounding singer.  The variety in tracks is varied enough to keep the listener engaged but cohesive enough to make each song flow into the next without a jarring effect.  It is incredibly well done for someone so young and new, giving you the idea that she is serious about her craft.  The title of the EP alone is a shot across the bow at anyone who thinks that she’s not coming for that top spot.
