Adele has confirmed the title for her new album.
The British singer/songwriter christened her third studio collection “25” and will release it later this year through XL Recordings and Columbia Records.
The keenly-awaited project follows 2011’s “21,” which peaked to number one on both the UK and US Albums Chart and spawned singles including “Rolling in the Deep,” “Someone Like You” and “Set Fire to the Rain.”
On the songwriting front, Adele serves as co-writer for Sia’s latest single “Alive” along with Tobias Jesso Jr. The Jesse Shatkin-produced track is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with RCA Records.
Meanwhile, “25” reportedly boasts alliances with Paul Epworth (FKA twigs), Diane Warren (Lady Gaga), Ed Sheeran (Tori Kelly), Ryan Tedder (Beyonce), Pharrell (Usher), Emile Haynie (Jessie Ware) and Max Martin (Katy Perry).
