Earlier this year, Kristinia DeBarge started having New Music Mondays, here she released something for her fans and hopeful-soon-to-be-fans.  While there was a little fudging of the term “new” as she released some remixes of popular tracks, her original tracks were solid.  When she stopped seven months ago we expected a new album or freelease (which was the promise when she started releasing tracks), but nothing materialized and she went quiet.

But now she’s back with a new track and picking up where she left off.

Keeping with the style that she seemed to be developing with the previous original songs, the songstress tells those listening that she is not about putting up with all that drama in a relationship.  The dark production fits the mood, but is elevated some by DeBarge’s soprano vocals. The lyrics, with the exception of the chorus, flow well and make sense even if they don’t go beyond what you expect.

No news yet on whether this is renewed album promo or just a loosie, but we wouldn’t be surprised if there were a lot more Mondays to come.
