There is nothing wrong with a woman focused on getting to the top of the ladder and Princess Nyah may have given them their theme song. About showing that she isn’t about getting caught up in a relationship or some messy side love that could derail her dream, this song is as focused lyrically as Nyah is on her business. There is no trying to balance a more “feminine” softness with her message to make it more acceptable; she keep[s] it movin’ and will stop once she gets where she’s going. This song has a nice, bass-driven beat with more melodic trap overtones that really intensify the attitude that the singer is giving throughout the track. Her vocals, while monotone, absolutely work with the vibe of the track as it supposed to have that rapper braggadocio to it. It’s a solid track and perfect for when you’re feeling yourself about pursuing your goals.
