We don’t know much about this new talent, but we like what we hear.

Composing the lyrics herself, Maria Simone describes a seduction that begins on the dancefloor and could be a metaphor for things to come in a new love affair.  Over a production that sounds like a smoothed-out, more elegant version of Kid Ink’s Show Me (which is really obvious by the end of the first verse), the singer lets the man she spots across the room know to make the first move and what to do once they hit the floor.  Her tone is sweet and a little young, which fits the track, but her vocals have some underlying power that shows where she could go with more time.  The lyrics are strong in construction but gentle when it comes to content, which is fine considering that we think Simone might still be a teenager.  While this is not the singer’s first fore into the industry, this might be the track that garners her some increased attention.
