Dropping some mellow goodness for the day, David Morin’s Every Colour can easily be compared to a mixture of D’Angelo, Remy Shand, and Mayer Hawethorne with his utilization of jazz/soul teamed with softer vocals a lowkey harmonies.  His music has the feeling of the soft side of soul meeting the with some solid, life-affirming lyrics.  Covering topics such as love, partying with friends, not giving up on your dreams, and heartache, this is a pretty encompassing project that manages to stay interesting from beginning to end.  While I can’t see playing this when you’re in a hype mood, it’s the kind of music that can be put on most times of the day or night and be thoroughly enjoyed.

Having spent time performing on the streets of Canada, the 32-year-old has put forth a solid debut and deserves the attention he’s getting.
