Hailing from Maryland, abhi//Dijon has a style that seems to meld bumping mid-tempo music with minimalist lyrics that manage to hang in there with the production.  While the vocals are not anything that will take you to church, the are the perfect match for the vibe the duo is trying to set and, really, that’s all that needs to happen for a song to be good.  The secret seems to be in the layered harmonies that makes the softer tones stand out more and highlight the mellow feeling behind every song.  While this isn’t the kind of music that you might find yourself focusing in on all the time, it is the kind of stuff that can put you in a good mood just by playing in the background.

Let’s face it, you have to have something to even try to touch Jon B. and actually do a fairly good job.
