Travis Garland isn’t worried about how committed his lady is to him so he tells her everything.  About the woman who knows him so well that knows him better than anybody else and still rocks with him, there is a really strong undertone of trust that runs throughout the song.  He knows she ain’t tellin’ nobody where the bodies are buried and just wants to repay that trust.

The production of the track has a clear rock sound, but there is an R&B undertone to it that could easily have it fit in with a lot of alt. R&B tracks.  Garland’s vocals are still comparable to Justin Timberlake’s in tone and delivery, but his own personality makes it obvious that he isn’t trying to copy the singer as much as it is that they just sound a lot alike.  The lyrics are a little raunchy but never get out of bounds and have a bit of a poetic flow with a lot of concrete imagery.  It’s a solid track that might have those who thought they knew the singer taking a second look.

This is the first cut from his upcoming Uppers+Downers, Vol. 1, due out September 7.
