Featuring the single War, Kyle Shedrick digs deep and comes out on a higher plane (bad pun, I know). Giving a sampler plate of his talent, the singer takes aim at love and show the emotional depth that comes with getting to know someone. The production, while mid-tempo, is varied and enhances the mood of the songs. The lyrical content is solid and Shedrick’s vocals show a versatility that we didn’t see coming from the lead track.
This is the kind of project that sneaks up on you with its good sounds and repeatability. At first listen, you might think that it you will only listen to it in certain moods, but you find yourself coming back to it again and again. And while every track is good…can we get a full version of Beautiful please?
