From her recently released Summer Of 17 EP, Bridget Kelly sings about the man that is driving her absolutely crazy with love.

Head Over Heels is one of those tracks that you hear and it immediately strikes a chord.  Using a combination of rich harmonies, a cappella vocals, and light instrumentation, the singer/songwriter creates something that has an old-school sound but doesn’t sound dated.  Kelly’s vocals are her signature mixture of rasp and controlled strength; she dials things back or amps them up in her delivery at the appropriate moment to but emphasis on her words.  The lyrics are strong and relatable with the tumbling nature of the beatwork putting a point on the theme.

Well constructed and just a good listen, this is the kind of song that we hope to hear more of in the coming fourth quarter of the year.
