A late single from her 2014 EP Ke’Ke’, KeKe Wyatt drops a pretty, country video for her folky track Lie Under You.
This is one of the songs that truly shows Wyatt’s range as a singer because she doesn’t oversing the track and yet still manages to shine. The acoustic guitar-led production is subtle and has a country feel without actually being country (more light rock like Extreme’s More Than Words). With the exception of the last couple of lines, the lyrics are solid and convey a feeling that is not about sex as much as it is love.
