Jill Scott is ready to move on from her man and their issues, but she’s going to let him to get that loving one more time.  Giving the type of attitude that you usually only hear from men when they break up with women, the singer lets it be known that there is no more coming back now that he’s walking out the door.  The track’s production reminded us a little of Gimme, one of Scott’s older recordings, due to the funky beat and her vocal inflections.  Her tone is full of sass and confidence, perfect for the song’s mood and good match for the bassline.  The lyrics are strong, with a good amount of concrete examples of what her ex will be missing from here on out.

Scott’s new album, Woman, will be available July 24.
