Independent artist J-Sol has dropped a pretty solid EP. Consisting of R&B/pop that is often infused with EDM, the singer has a lot to say about the different aspects of love. Lyrically, this set is solid and showcases different sides of the singer’s personality; from the quirky Alien to the heartfelt No Make Up. The production is varied but cohesive enough to make a strong unit. J-S0l does not have a huge vocal range but he uses what he has very effectively and gives emotion and energy to every song. Considering this is his debut project, I think that we should expect big things from him.
