This is a remix of the track that was featured on his 2014 EP, 19.  Using a slowed down sample of Cameo’s Candy, Jacquees and Rich Homie Quan give a pretty good mid-tempo track about getting the sweetness they are eyeing to give them a chance to give that good loving.  Jacquees’ vocals are nice here and you can tell that he has developed well since his early releases.  The lyrics are fairly solid and, while typical for this type of song, do a good job of incorporating the candy metaphor throughout the track.

We would also like to give special attention to the fact that Quan not only did a verse that stayed true to the subject matter but for also incorporated the candy motif from the current iteration’s lyrics.  It may not be anything classic, but given that he could have easily made this a throwaway verse, we appreciate the effort.
