Sounding like a dance track from the 90s, Rudimental has created one he’ll of a throwback track…even if they didn’t mean to. The vocals are light on the adlibs (and in general as there is a long instrumental breakdown about halfway through the track), but it works for this track because the production has so much personality. Mixing horns, synthetic, and mellow bass tones, you might swear someone from Soulection was involved with this. The lyrics are basic but get the point of ignoring the haters and saboteurs across. The addition of Anne-Marie adds just the right something as her soft vocals balance the beatwork nicely.
