A couple of weeks ago, we introduced you to Keith James through his single Treat Her Like A Lady.  Now he has released his full project, From The Grey, and we have to say that we like it.  From Button, about a James trying to figure out what turns a certain lady on, to Phillip’s Song, about giving some real but encourage truths about life to someone still young, this EP covers quite a bit.  While the subject matter isn’t as cohesive as some other projects, the joining aspect seems to be the production.  Every track has that throwback feel to it that Treat Her did but every track has a distinct sound all its own.  James’ voice is the star of the show, though, as we get to hear the versatility of his vocals on each song.  Our favorite track, Peace, has an upbeat feel and shows that he can rise out of the basement with his tone rather effectively.

This is a solid first effort and we are eager for more.
