Singer Mélat teams up with producer Robbie Anthem for short and sweet trip into triumph.  Brand New Money is about rising out the muck and making more of your life than maybe people expected.  The production is a wonderful mix of heavy bass and old-school R&B, making it surprisingly seductive in its sound.  Mélat’s voice is melodic, strong, and sells the track emmensely.  Her emotional tone is just right; proud but not arrogant, so there is a feeling of gratefulness there as well.  The lyrical content is strong as well, simple without being basic and relating something real that connects to most people.
