Tamar satisfies her growing group of Tamartians by finally releasing a new single.  The old-school styled track has the singer telling her man that she wouldn’t be able to survive without him.  For those who were afraid that we would get another Love & War styled single, this track sounds completely different than most tracks on her last album (although it seems to fit with the last single) and seems to be a different direction for the singer.  The big issue is the vocals.  There are sections where you can clearing hear Braxton straining to hit the higher register notes and the lyrics become unintelligible at those moments.  This changes towards the end as she unleashes gruffer tones that both add a nice tone to the track and make high notes sound more natural.

Braxton’s second album, Calling All Lovers, will be released July 31 and will feature the single Let Me Know.
