When we stumbled upon K-Major’s new freelease, we didn’t know what to expect; what we got was some fairly solid songwriting and some mellow beats.  While his voice might be an acquired taste for some, each track seems to be tailored to fit his tone and vocal abilities.  The lyrics for most of the songs are about lust and love, but they are perfect for date night, especially for the under thirty set.  Our favorite tracks are Story Untold, which makes use of a beautiful classical sample as K-Major declares his love for an amazing woman, Young Nigga Pimpin, which has the singer turning the tables on a cougar, and Shut It Down, which features August Alsina and has the two throwing out some bars and talking about how bad their women are.

I guess we should have expected something like this from the songwriter/producer of many of the tracks on Jacquees’ Fan Affiliated.
