Yankie and crew take the term sold out to a different place with their new track. Instead of saying it as if they’ve lost touch with their roots, the use it as something that they have aspired to and earned; selling out concerts and selling albums. Considering who this track is coming from, the tongue-in-cheek nature of the title should be expected. What we didn’t expect was the great throwback nature of the track and the amazing bridge (New York bridges, Seoul bridges, Beijing bridges…Hey, if it’s going to be nonsense, at least be funny nonsense.)
Two notes to better understand the song: Melon is a video channel similar to MTV (back in the day) and Haru is Tablo’s daughter.
